Melbourne’s median house price has recorded its strongest quarterly price growth since 2013!
The Metropolitan Median House Price has increased by 7.6% in the first quarter of 2017 to a record a high of $826,000. This is up $55,000 on the previous quarter’s figure.
Solid price growth was also recorded in the unit / apartment sector with the Metropolitan Median Price increasing 3.8% to $583,000.
A range of factors have contributed to significant price growth across the city, including strong buyer demand, solid population growth, record low interest rates and low stock levels.
